Luca Aresu joined DeA Capital as a Managing Director in 2024 and is responsible for investments, operations, and the expansion of the Infrastructure & Real Asset business. Bringing over 16 years of international buy-side investing experience, he has a proven track record of value creation across energy transition, digital infrastructure, and the broader real assets spectrum.
Previously, he was a Senior Investment Manager at infrastructure investor Equiter (Intesa Sanpaolo Group), where he focused on energy and digital transition mid-market deals. Earlier in his career, he managed the Infrastructure and Real Asset investment program at Poste Vita (Poste Italiane Group) and led MENA region investment activities at a global renewable energy investor.
Luca started his career as an Analyst in the investment team of Torre SGR (Fortress Investment Group).
Throughout his career, Luca has originated more than €10B of deals and worked on more than 50 transactions in the energy transition, digital transformation, and broader infrastructure & real asset sectors. He also served as board member and investment committee member at multiple companies and investment vehicles.
Luca holds a Master’s degree in “Finance & Banking – Quantitative Finance” from the University of Roma Tor Vergata.
